BIO Papadopoulos Nikos
Nikos Papadopoulos lives and works in Athens Greece.
He is a multidisciplinary artist working in Hybrid Installations,Virtual Reality, Video Game, Sculpture, and performance.
Since 2016 he is a member of the artist collective "Ex-ils"
In his artistic practice, the artist creates hybrid installations that combine physical and virtual elements. By utilizing virtual reality and video game software as artistic mediums, he crafts immersive interactive experiences that encourage viewers to explore and engage with their surroundings in real-time participation and interaction.
He raises questions about the transformative potential of technology in shaping our understanding of what it means to be human, as well as to critically reflect on the impact of technology on contemporary society and individual perception.
He studied Sculpture at Athens School of Fine Arts 2013, with professor George Lappas. Obtained a MA in “Art, Virtual Reality and multi-user systems of artistic expression” 2018, ASKT-UniversityParis8. He holds a BA in Electrical Engineering1991.
